Mr. Persad's interest in boating & fishing, coupled with his extensive sales and negotiating business experience, enabled him to develop the Volvo Penta Brand in Trinidad and Tobago which the company has been importing since 1987.
In the ensuing years the company has forged strategic relationships with a multitude of foreign marine product suppliers including Vetus Boating , Duramax Marine and Johnson Pumps –SPX Flow to name a few . These relationships have afforded LP the opportunity to offer the local and regional market place optimum performance and quality designed marine equipment, vessels, industrial products and supplies for projects within the marine, petro-chemical and energy sectors.
LP Marine's head office, main retail outlet and warehouse is located at 176B Western Main Road, Pt. Cumana, Trinidad West Indies. The company also maintains exclusive distributorship for the Guy Harvey Brand, a successful top brand Fishing Apparel line. Today the company stocks over 25,000 affordably priced Marine and Industrial line items. Diverse catalogues of marine spares and accessories are readily available for the sourcing and delivery of parts and accessories at a moment's notice and experienced personnel are on hand to assist customers with their immediate or long term requirements.
